I hope we get owners that are wealthier enough to pay cash outright.
I wouldn't worry too much about that. Even someone who could pay up front in cash will still prefer to pay in instalments if it's cheaper to do so. Remember that whoever buys will need to stump up a fair bit of cash to buy new players and so letting them pay for the club in instalments is a helping hand from the seller.

Bull shoite!!! you are buying in to the crap that was spouted from Ashleys slimey lawyer.
He is basically saying that if you cant quite afford it,dont worry we will give you time..
Then he says (to look good,as if he could) you might need the money in Jan..
So by your reasoning, very well off people buy their more expensive goods from Grattan, cos its cheaper...

Lol. I read that after I posted.

It’s not Ashley doing anyone a favour, it’s to help the sale happen.

By my reasoning buying a 380 million pound football club that needs substantial investment is not the same as buying some ‘expensive’ goods.

When i saw this news, my first thought was that it was another step in the right direction (ie. another step towards him selling).

    LIES LIES LIES LIES LIES!

An excuse for no January transfer funds and once transfer window closes Mike Ashley says no one was serious.

Don't believe a word of it. Just has an excuse to give Rafa when he's pissed that no transfer targets arrive in January.

This. Wouldn't surprise me in the least, I trust nothing that the fat man says any more.

Its a great idea pboro but i think it would be dificult to tet all the interested geordies together and organised in time. Do you think with your skills and experience you could start the ball rolling? We could be like barcelona.
