Wonder if Mitro will get an opportunity!

Nobody on the bench is injured or deserves to lose their place. We have a 25 man squad and only 18 places to fill on match days.
Because Mbemba did nothing wrong yet got dumped yet some players do nothing yet never get dropped, Mbemba is miles better then Manquillo

I take it that Mbemba is dropped and not carrying a niggly injury? If so, he could be on his way in January,as he will not be happy with being dropped altogether. Is it still the argument that he does not follow orders! I have lost the path on this one.

Big mistake not starting with Mitro and Merino. He will have to bring them on. Palace is hard to beat now that woy is in charge

Not injured as far as i'm aware, doesn't appear on the physioroom site.

I don't know if he still doesn't, either way Rafa doesn't seem to rate him - which is fair enough we all have our opinions on players but i agree he could be out in Jan.

I'd of certainly started with Merino, not fussed if we bring Mitro on from bench though.

It's a wonder Merino is on the bench. I rate Shelvey, but he's been the least impressive of our three best CM's so far this season.

I don't think much can be happening in the game as the most up to date report on BBC has this:

"Rafa Benitez knows how to rock a suit/waistcoat combination. He's dressed sharper than a guillotine"
