Ray was on a good, steady number at Raith and if ST hadn't interfered, he might still be there, collecting a lower wage, but a bit more security. In a sense ST put paid to that, obviously hoping for better things for Ray and United. Now that Ray has been brought crashing to the ground, he has to try and salvage what financial deal he can from United. After all, he will be remembered, at least in the short term, for his 'success' at United, rather than what he achieved at Raith. Confirmed today that Utd are locked in talks with Ray's lawyers and until an agreement has been reached, no announcement will be made. Ray was told on Saturday he was being removed from his position as manager. Laurie Ellis to take training in the meantime. Now, can we all calm the **** down.
