The Green Green Grass of Home

If anyone wants to chill about SD joining Everton- just read the piece on BE - you can all sleep well now

I think from the lack of responses to this post IDWT, between us we've finally convinced our more twitchy fans that Sean is going nowhere. Now we can all go to bed tonight with a nice mug of Horlicks and sleep soundly. No more nightmares and waking up in a sweat.

    .

so S.D says: "I've said a few times of varying clubs that have been mentioned and nothing’s changed, you're always flattered because it recognises the work myself and my staff do. ”You're flattered by the fact some of your work is recognised.

but if...as Dyche says "it's all paper talk"....it's a nothing, then who is it that he sees doing the flattering ?

    "It's other people's story, it's not mine"

so if he hasn't been approached by any team - none have shown any interest in him....so isn't thought of as any value to them - then who are these other other people that he feels complimented by ?

Well if he hasn’t been contacted how does this fit?

You could argue I have made the right decisions by not going anywhere else, by staying.

Somewhere down the line of course I am ambitious enough to wonder what is out there.

    So nothing has changed really.

It is all media interest and that is what he means. There has been so much speculation one way and another, however, it is between Sean and the clubs involved as to whether or not any approaches have been made and he does not have to enlighten anybody as to whether or not this has happened except, perhaps, the Burnley Board who emply him.

Bilic still on a shaky nail
West Ham are known to have established how much it would take to prise Dyche away from Burnley and how much he would need to be paid.

then if he hasn't been approached - which he seems to have suggested...then it seems he is flattered by all the pointless media speculation after all.

    Cheers Sub.

Norder--would you not be flattered if lots of people were 'talking you up' --even if there is no end product to it? It is what the media do --they create celebrities that nobody has ever heard of --except, in this case. it is football people doing it through the media and we have heard of SD. lol

see what your saying Sub.....but if the background for all the applause is fake - what comes after could be considered just as pretended...being that there's an angle - so why I dont see how he could be flattered by any of their opinions.....unless - there's more to it.
