The only tricky aspect of all of this is that some are eligible to play for other countries. Hudson-Odoi, for example, could theoretically choose Ghana instead of England at senior level. It's a bit like the Zaha situation, only these players are better. The best of them all though is Phil Foden, and he was born in Stockport, so we should be OK.
Like I always say, Old Pie, politics is everywhere, even in the relationships between family members. But the real point here is that maybe, just maybe, the Premier League and its importing of foreign talent is having a positive effect at the root of the British game. The young just see great players regardless of their nationalities. That has to be a good thing.
