He was, as has been said many times before, average at best for United, no more than that. I wasn't fussed when he left, and I doubt if all but a small few were either. I still wouldn't change what happened, we got the best left back Scotland's produced in decades. Some get through the net, one that I would have liked to have seen us keep on is the boy Jack Hendry at the Fun, by all accounts he's been one of the few bright lights of their season so far, and has been singled out as a future internationalist by Brendan Rodgers. Why we let him go, I have no idea.

On Douglas though, well done to the guy, he's done very well to make the best of what he has, not may Scots have the balls to take themselves out their comfort zone and try their hand in Poland and Turkey, certainly none have done so as successfully as Douglas has, 3 trophies and however many European ties in 3 years is some going.
