I’m happy with that. It’s a good draw, plus we are at home which is a bonus as when we have lost and been knocked out to non league clubs in the past it’s been away from home.

However as others have said on the other thread we have no right of entitlement to win this game. The Salford game should be a stark reminder of what can happen, although I’d like to think we are now in a better place as a club and will put in a professional solid performance and get the job done in true KN style.

Either short memories or too young. York City, Yeovil, must be more, help me out here.

These stats don't say who we played, it makes good reading tho. When loaded select Seasons

I remember losing at home to Havant & Waterlooville in 2007. This was the team:

Pilkington, Canoville, Tann, Hunt, Mayo, Somner, MacKenzie (Butcher 79), Silk (Lee 59), Dudfield, Sam, Weston (Weir-Daley 64).
    Subs Not Used: Sandercombe, Pearce.

There is some proper dross in that team.

Yes thanks for reviving a nightmare That was a 2nd round defeat, H&W went on to beat Swansea and then play Liverpool. Finnan and Pennant both playing for the 'Pool in those days.

Amongst others OP we had nightmares against Rhyl (1-3) Bath City (0-1) and Kettering (1-2) and you'd be around when it happened.

Yes well I had eradicated the details in my efforts for self preservation but I new that Mad_Magpie was looking through rose-tinted glasses when he said "I’m happy with that. I certainly recall a feeling of dread when we got a home tie against a non-league club and this thread has reminded me exactly why, so far (post-war):

    York
    Bath
    Yeovil
    Rhyl
    Kettering
    Havant & W

Plus some pretty dismal away defeats. Lots to be concerned about Mad_Magpie.

Good link - well done. Enough in that lot to still make me take nothing for granted, Kettering, Havant & W.
