First time to Barbados, loved it. It's the Caribbean so it is a bit rough and ready and rundown in places but the people are the friendliest, helpful and easy going bunch I have ever met. And I was not there as a tourist but working so I had the good fortune to meet a good cross section of people, all the same, wonderful. I liked it so much I might even pay to go back there myself!

And whoever recommended it was right, the local beer, Banks, is a cracker.
It was me that recommended the Banks Woody hope you gave the local Rum a go too! Nowt wrong with a bit of rough and ready especially when it comes to the Caribbean islands as most are real jewels, spent many a vacation in Antigua,Jamaica,Barbados,Dominican.
