Twist. But Prando states what is seemingly evident and very worrying. With everything that has happened it seems inconceivable that he will be in charge for the Spurs game. But I would be amazed if they had a new person in charge by then. It might be a risk but I would like to see us go with a 'young' manager who has proven himself at a lower level.

I would say any candidate that has been mentioned will do a better job than Pulis is doing at the moment, he lost the majority of the fans some weeks ago, and after yesterdays defensive display he has now lost the majority of the players in the last 3 years when have you seen us concede such poor goals? he has taken good players and is making them look bad by playing a system they clearly don't believe in everybody but him can see the 3 defensive midfielders is not working neither is the 3 centre half's, it's time for a complete change someone with fresh ideas because at the moment the players just look like they have a total lack of confidence.

I didn't - but i did put 15 quid on though for a West Brom win so still could have had another four pints for that!

Playing three at the back is a non starter for us due to a lack of pace in G Mac and Evans and a lack of pace in the three man defensive midfield.

If we are to get out of this hole it'll be down to the "old guard" to save us in my opinion and by that I mean Brunt coming back in at left back and Dawson at right back when fit.

I've been dissapointed with Gibbs defensively,he looks too lightweight and I'd be inclined to play him wide left in midfield to offer pace and trickery going forward.

I can see Yacob being a mainstay in the coming weeks and Morrison getting in ahead of the Pole.

Our ineptitude at not bringing pace into the squad in the last few windows is staggering,it's okay buying the likes of Burke but if you're not going to play him then an experienced player with pace would be money better spent.

Our transfers since Ashworth left have been a car crash in the main.

Brunt,G Mac,Yacob and Morrison have got a long term legacy at our club to protect and they have the nous and b o l l o x to get us through this.

The bigger worry is that useless lump Rondon, him and J Rod just doesn't seem to work.

How can anybody be worse than Pulis at the moment? I reckon any of the posters on here could do better. In fact anyone who posts a letter in the country today could do better.

So you'd stick? Really? Isn't that like picking the same midfield every week?
You must think losing every week is acceptable then?

The bottom line is that when TP took over he was the right man for the situation and did a good job. He stabilised us and to an extent we progressed. However, in the last twelve months or so things have deteriorated' culminanating in what is now a crisis situation. I don't see now he he can resurrect the trust and the the only way forward for the club is to replace him. As many of you have stated, I don't believe the players are now with him and therefore it is an impossible situation. Our biggest problem now is who to replace him with. We have to be extremely careful and make sure that we appoint the best candidate. Not easy!
