Haha, nice one BT!
As long as they were allowed nowhere near the accounts department.
I know I sound it and call me slapdash if you like but I feel this so called EU is a fraudulent organisation.
They seem to be able to hold us to ransom simply because we have voted to leave them, and the way this has dragged on really infuriates me as we look like we have no backbone and are in between a rock and a hard place, which we are not.
I would pay them for what we owe them on this 2 year (get ready) gap, and stop any more discussions.
When the day comes that we have actually left them, start negotiations then, we import more than we export to them, I don't believe the EU could function (legally or illegally) as well if we was not involved, some Countries would want to deal with us as that is where some of their main revenues come from.
We have the rest of the world to trade with, we should not even be tolerating this nonsense especially as it looks for all the world to see that we are weak and on our knees.
We should just go about our business honestly and professionally Alto - that's all I ask.
It might not be official yet but the Labour Party are suggesting we sling them £20 billion with guaranteed access to the Single Market, retain the Customs Union with EU goods, allow free movement of people between ourselves and the 27 EU member nations and crack on! Sort the rest as we go along!
Corbyn's main objective is reported to free this country from EU bureaucracy and rule ourselves from Westminster. Sounds OK to me!
I also love the rumour that we are now about to recruit 3000 Polish administrators to get a tab on the number of immigrants that are in this country. You simply could not make it up (or could you?)
Honesty is one of the last things you'd expect an MP to be, Professionalism is another 59_60.
I can understand your cynicism Alto.
Our politicians, generally, have a poor record of honesty, leading us to see them as untrustworthy.
Trust, honesty and professionalism are ***** if you wish to strike a good deal with your partners. This is especially true if you wish to continue to trade with them in the future. The way our negotiators are going about their business makes me cringe.
Deals simply don't get any bigger than the Brexit negotiations, but I fear that the Tories are trying to keep everyone in their party happy and seriously threatening to making a botch of it.
Trust, honesty and professionalism are ***** if you wish to strike a good deal with your ex-partners. This is especially true if you wish to continue to trade with them in the future. The way the EU negotiators are refusing to negotiate at all makes me cringe.
Deals simply don't get any bigger than the Brexit negotiations, but I fear that the EU elite are more concerned with their grand political project, than with the economies of the 27 remaining countries, and are seriously threatening to making a botch of it.
