Problem was sinkov I was raised in the (then) small village of Baxenden and there were not enough paperboys to go round, hence my entrepreneurial spirit kicked in and I earned a quid a week which was a tidy sum in 1963!

You'll remember when the Black Panther murdered Derek in the Post Office then BT. I got roped in for that, for few days I was a suspect. I lived in Baxenden at the time, I was on the early shift that week and walked down M/C Rd into Accy that morning, leaving home about ten past five. I saw nothing untoward and knew nowt about it until I got home. Day after the CID called round and simply didn't believe that I could have walked down into Accy at the time I said and not noticed anything. They wanted to know how I got past the ro@dblocks, I told them I didn't see any road blocks, they said they had the area sealed off by that time, I told them they were mistaken, which didn't go down well. After another two visits because they clearly didn't believe my story they never came back. My guess was, after the original 999 call, they hadn't been as efficient as they claimed sealing the area off, and my story contradicted theirs, but when CID checked it out they found their mates had been telling porkies. Nowt much changes does it.

Donald Neilson was one horrible murdering barsteward.

Derek had two kids and his wife at home when Neilson broke in to the Post Office and Derek was just protecting them.

It's a very personal story for me and remind me to tell you about it when I come round for the promised tea and crumpets?

I worked with a th a lad that was dragged in as a suspect for the Yorkshire ripper.. He wasn't best pleased ..

My hands have gone over my ears, it's all bollox to me - we are still living in a phooking serfdom!

Windsor Castle, Sandringham, Balmoral and Buckingham phooking Palace and God alone knows how many other piles this shower of s-h-i-t-e actually own.

Meanwhile we have thousands upon thousands of UK citizens homeless, it's phooking madness!
