With you there about the Baggies but I can see Pardew trying to impress too hard and with his inbuilt arrogance he could finish as a short term appointment and Carver may find himself in the hot seat yet again. We all know what happens to arrogant people don't we.

Indeed. It´s amazing who pops out the woodwork after finally getting a positive result.

Well I was definitely a fan of his at one time, Andy.

Thing is-I wouldn't say fans (and it applies to all clubs) are fickle when they turn against someone they used to like as that means changing your mind for no particular reason. Pardew gave us enough reasons to turn against him and it's the same with players we (again, all clubs' fans) used to worship if they leave in a bad way-sounding off after leaving or even, in some players' cases, while they're still here.

West Brom are on a slippy slope with him, unfortunately.

.. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt regarding your personal fickleness mate .. Does seem that just about the lot of them have a shelf-life but there is still an awful lot of fickleness about I reckon ..

Does that mean he'll be missing for another couple of months following an other bad run.

Aye, we'll be feckn sick of hearing Pardew saying 'over the line' and every other paragraph Carver talking about working with Sir Bob.
