    Started brightly, but we seem to have run out of ideas and Palace are taking over...

    Spot on. Struggling to put anything together.
    Another game in which the name Livermore has barely been heard. Rodriguez not in the game much either.
    Nyom struggling to cope with Zaha. That's not a criticism, many do.
    Evans doing a sterling job at the back. Rondon working hard up front.

    All in all, too little quality up front imo.

    Last 41 games for McClean: one goal, no assists. Assisted the opponents for a few times though!

    Watched it in TV in Bahrain. Looked like we were at least hungry to win - far more attacking intent. A bit more quality and composure in the final third and we surely would have won that. First game for ages we shaded possession. Gibbs and Field on LHS look promising. Hegazi and Evans solid at the back. Crowd seemed up for it. There is new hope.....
