Pboro the benefit of the ignore button is that you can disengage it when you see the passage of a certain thread and you want to then see the other person's opinion or statement which has caused the controversy.

Reading the passage of these posts I can see that the things you are complaining about are exactly what you yourself initiated in the beginning.

For instance no one ever had a go at you or insulted you at any time unless it was a reply in retaliation to your own insulting and officious remarks to them in the first place.

I myself was friendly towards you asking if you were from Peterborough to which you replied yes and I said at the time it was to your credit that you travelled that distance and attended so many matches.

Then you became abusive to me when I said I had a round trip of 700 miles and these days because of business and family commitments I rarely got to matches.

I recall you calling posters from abroad "plastic" for not attending and I also recall you labelling a local poster who is disabled "plastic"

My friend, it is yourself who can't take criticism when you have initially insulted people and they have retaliated. You are, and were always the first to give it out. Ask any one on here and I think most bar a couple will agree with me.

In fact it was only in the later stages that I began calling you Pinocchio and that was only because I had caught you out telling so many barefaced lies and it was also following numerous posts where you had insulted myself and many other posters for no other reason that they had different opinions to yourself.

As I've said to you to many, many times in the past, if you don't want to be a whinger and a cry baby because posters retaliate then the solution is in your own hands.

IF YOU CAN'T TAKE IT BACK THEN DON'T GIVE IT OUT IN THE FIRST PLACE.

He's controversial. He creates all kinds of posts.
People respond to him, so why don't they just ignore him if he bothers them so much?
Why don't people just see his topic and just bypass it?

The forum is there to discuss all kinds of football related topics and obviously, especially Newcastle United, good, bad or indifferent.
The troll words gets flung about for the sake of it.

Close to 10 years he's been an active member of this forum with over 6,000 posts, so calling him a troll is a bit silly to be honest.
Unlike you and others I tend to take an interest in any posts that is worth reading, whether it's a simple opinion by a new poster or a long controversial one by a regular poster.


I'll see digs go backwards and forwards and wind ups and jokes and swear words that go beyond the boundaries (not by pboro) and yet I don't jump up shouting " oh someone's said CU NEXT TUESDAY and yet the very same people are wanting pboro banned.

If you don't like his posts then bypass them. You have that choice. Nobody is holding a gun to your head.
