Lets just hope these words do not come back to haunt you with them coming up and us going down. Pardew has hardly made his mark with a return of points but hey lets judge him after eight games!!!!

Steve Gibson is many things but certainly not a fool!

I don't think TP is a promotion man. A relegation avoider undoubtedly. If he is leading a club that looks like going down he makes sure he's out of there in good time.

Boro have first class training facilities at Rockcliffe Park and one of the most beautiful hotels owned by Gibson on the site - I know as seen it first hand. Gibson also breathes Boro and does so much for the football club with his own personal wealth. So can see Pulis doing a good job there.

If our owner showed an inch of passion towards the football club like Gibson who is a fan himself, we would show some ambition - whilst it was right for Pulis to go, there was no ambition in getting Pardew.

So all the majority would wanted Pulis out which was the right decision, I would question if they still would have wanted him out knowing the replacement was Pardew.

Two points from five games is no improvement - so we need at least four points minimum from the next three games! Will we get them?

All the best Mr Pulis, thanks for keeping us up for a couple of seasons and for buying some great players. None of those were forwards, your only big mistake.
