    Manchester City.

It's all very well everyone waxing lyrical about Manchester City but what club anywhere wouldn't be as good as they are given the financial backing that they have. When you can purchase virtually any player that you require then you should be the best team in the country. This is why I give more credit to the likes of the 'Busby Babes' of the fifties, the Spurs double winning side of the sixties, the Liverpool side of the seventies, the Leicester side of two seasons ago. These were teams that were 'built' and not 'bought'. As I say, anybody can buy success but surely to build a successful team has to be given more credit. Let's be be honest, if the Manchester City owners had bought, let's say Rochdale, and spent the money on them that they have on City, within ten years they would be the best team in the country. That says it all in my opinion.

    Too true, Leicester.
I wonder just how euphoric City fans really feel. They'll be happy alright, but not as happy as us, when we won the odd trophy YEARS AGO! Can you imagine beating Barca in the Final to a grin and polite applause.

You are pretty much correct but you have to get the right manager and let him choose the players he wants. 90% of the players City have gone in for have signed.
I wonder what would have happened it they had appointed Pulis on a 3 year no way out for either side deal with a free range on signings....
