Personally thought Virgil van Dijk would have made an excellent signing for Man City.
Then again they don't tend to do much defending in the Prem', would have given them a better shout in the Champions League though.
Think City sold their image rights to side step FFP and also brought in over £90,000,000 in player sales prior to their summer spending spree.
Reckon going for Evans (if they actually do) over Virgil van Dijk is a possible signal as to how close they may be to their FFP limits.
