'The applicant has provided additional information in support of the application since its original submission on three occasions. While this is appreciated, the revised information has not addressed the concerns raised in the SDPA’s previous submissions. As such the SDPA’s position remains the same.'
Bit of a strange thing for them to say with all the fine tuning and shoe in.
'The SDPA understands and supports the desire of AFC to improve its facilities but the proposed development in its current form and location remains contrary to the Aberdeen City and Shire Strategic Development Plan. As previously stated; the proposal would result in the loss of 25Ha of greenbelt, the coalescence of urban areas (Westhill and Kingswells), would be an inappropriately located development. It would give rise to unsustainable travel patterns and be contrary to the modal shift sought by the SDP in that it has limited accessibility for active travel and public transport when compared to identified stadium sites in the SDP. Finally it is likely to have a negative impact on the City Centre.'
Well done you.
Some of us, prefer to drink in different bars, ones we choose to use, rather than all be told to drink in the same bar prior to the game.
What happens if we play sh!t and some of us want to go to the bar at HT? Will the "Red Bar" open to allow us a beer t drown our sorrows? Will the shuttle buses be ready to take us to town just around half time?
Maybe there are a lot of radges on here we DON'T want to socialise with, and a few that probably don't want to socialise with me either (which is perfectly fine by me).
I personally don't like the idea and would be disappointed if it goes through, oh, and i stay in Aberdeen not Westhill before anyone starts.
Nothing to be congratulated about, just pointing out a differing perspective
I've no idea.
I'd like to think it's available throughout.
Just imagine if there is an option to get a half time pint as well.
Far quicker than popping up to the Pittodrie Bar, Bobbin Mill or further
No idea either. I'd presume there may not be a strong demand or anticipation of people leaving at half time
Why not have a couple in the Red Bar while you are waiting
I'm sure there are a lot of radges you don't socialise with in your current choice of establishment.
There might even be a few in here you are not aware of.
Fair enough, your entitled to it.
I understand, your local and want to stay local.
There is quite a lot of support for it though as it appears.
I'm sure that people will take very little pleasure in saying " I told you so" in 10 years time when the average crowd at a pathetic " in a field" stadium drops to below 4000
