He tweeted: "Getting a lot of negative comments on here. When a club agrees to sell you [and] take a fee, you have a decision to make. My career has been a slow progression from Park football to where I am now. We play at our level to get to the next and hope to get to the top.

"Yes I would love to have done it with Charlton but that's no guarantee. I've been given the chance to play for another great club who are close to achieving that dream of top flight football, at my age I might not get another chance.

"In all jobs if you are offered a promotion you would be stupid not to take it, football seems to be different.

"I had a great time at Charlton, just a shame it wasn't more successful. I feel I always gave my all and hope the fans enjoyed my performances. Along the way I met some great people from fans, staff and players.

"It's a new chapter in the short career us footballers get and I can't wait to get started!

"I wish Charlton all the success the fans deserve."

ive a feeling lundstum and duffy will be on bench at norwich and leonard and evans with fleck in midfield and wouldnt be suprised if he gave leon a break and played clayton with holmes just in behind him in the brooks role

Good signing, we’ve got players in now who will put pressure on our midfielders and also not be frightened to shoot from distance, something definitely lacking in our game.

Hopefully it’ll make us more dangerous from free kicks and even corners which are also poor returners.

I posted something similar on another thread. Similar tactics to how we played at the sty. Donaldson has the energy and strength to go it alone at the top.

pretty sure duffy will be given a break and come back for the villa game thing is weve now got options in most positions and our back 3 might be a back 5 at carrow road i think we will get something

We’ve got cover in midfield and with the Man Utd and the returning Ched we’ve got cover up top but with Carter-Vickers returning doesn’t that leave us thin st the back?
Unless we’re going to see Heneghan otherwise it’s Stearman, O’Connell, Wright and Basham to cover three slots.

leonard can slot in there as well so i think we will be ok still think there might be games where we go 4.at the back in that system stearman and o connell would make a very solid pairing imo
