How would getting rid of empty unused seats lower the average if more fans are to be generated by this wonderdome
A 20k seater tadium will be approx. 2/3 full. Whats the point of the overkill of so many empty seats if the average is 13k. If the crowds stay the same then the average stays the same no matter if its a 20k or a 15k. Take away the bigger pigs and hun games and add the extra fans this new stadium will magic up according to some the average wont change as the 15 k seater will be rocking as people think
So if its smaller without vast gaps of empty seats the atmosphere will be better and surely it will be cheaper
But if we are in debt and signing Neil McFarlanes again the average will decrease significantly
Theres no point in a 20k sitting a third empty for almost every game when the club should be trying to pack out a smaller ground week in week out. Winna happen though as the club don't care and we have too many big time charlies milling about. we don't need more than a 15k seater whether in Westhill or the city

15k capacity you say.
2/3's of our home games this season has had attendances more than 15,000
That's 20,882 fans you've turned away from having the chance of watching the game live, at the ground.
Our average for all home games this season is 16,627.25
Would you really rather have a smaller stadium and restrict access?
No need to spout any pish about atmosphere as it's still the same punters going to the games, just fewer of them
Why perpetuate pish to try and make your argument stronger then?
Back on the real topic

I think the 20k is about the right size to go for.
Remember around 2008 Euro bid, there was discussions about being able to increase to 30k, now that would certainly be too much for our attendances, but 20k allows generally everyone who does want to go a chance to for all games
