Agreed. There's a world of difference between playing 4-3-3 in the Premier League, where teams have highly mobile, skilful and intelligent players, and playing it in League Two, where frankly we don't (or not many anyway). The key to Kevin Nolan's success has been simplicity and using a system players at this level can all understand. We've been quite physical and direct, but it makes for good, blood and thunder entertainment and it has been working.
Kevin Nolan done incredibly well overall. Hopefully, today was just a tactical aberration. Chuck it in the bin, go back to what's been working, and move on. Everyone makes mistakes, it's how you learn from them that determines your success.
