    A went back to the Old ground a few years back Albion v Athersley Rec , top ov table match , about 200 Reccas theer that day , great afternoon ,
    interesting that they have kept part of the old ground , serving food drinks and a museum with memorabilia of their History , including some signed old international shirts and photos of their ex players
    Watched many a John Player League Yorkshire cricket match next door when I was a kid in the 70's .

    Remember having a butchers at the football ground during the tea break and it had gone to rack n ruin , pitch was just overgrown with weeds and stand was falling to bits .

    The must have brought it back to life years later which is to be applauded .

    It's a nice ground Animal , although it doesn't resemble the Old ground at all , they have kept some history from previous seasons , and that's credit to them , I'm not sure who plays there now ? I think Albion Sports have left theer ? ! ESRs owd favorite Delroy Facet laiked fo them
