I was told last week Evans to Man C was a done deal and we were in for Nick Powell from Wigan...
Both could still feasibly happen but I thought there would have been some movement by now.
I think Man City have gone in for the Spanish guy now instead.
What would be a disaster is if we lost Evans in the last couple of hours before the window shuts without signing a striker.
I read that Pardew has put a deadline of this weekend on the Evans deal, I really hope that's the case!
