I actually think we are a better defensive unit under Pardew (don't know what the stats say) and we are certainly a better attacking unit.
You obviously didnt see the banks of four working totally together then Whicka mon. Every Premier league manager respects Pulis for his defensive nous. I respect that. He had his faults they all do but I will NEVER jump on a hate bandwagon that doesnt show some reason and grace for a mans record.

As I have stated before, Pulis was the right man at the right time. However, it got to the stage that his situation became untenable. Two wins this season, the first two at that, plus last season's poor second half to the season left the board with no alternative. In fairness I can't imagine many other clubs not making the same decision under the same circumstances. I won't slag Pulis off because he did stabilise the club when it was required. Having said this, Pardew's style of play is more pleasing on the eye and the atmosphere around the club is now far more positive.

Appreciate where you are coming from LB but Pardew has taken over a far worse situation than Pulis had to contend with and is doing a massive job with football totally alien to what Pulis used to put out.

I think if Pardew had taken the reins with the players we had when TP first arrived we would not be anywhere near the situation we are now.
