look at wenger, fergie, etv etc etc all once great managers all get left behind

the spitfire was once a great machine
    it wouldnt cut it today

if we brought a player in who several years ago won those trophys with rafa would you expect the same as then and us to win those trophys
    your living in the past

    his current record is abysmal

the worst prem manager the toon have had

and in the fizzy as well compared to chris
Not the worst Prem manager the toon have ever had... he’s the manager of the worst Prem squad/first 11 the Toon have ever had.

‘Chris’ came second to Rafa last season, and if Rafa had been backed with 60M as Houghton was this summer we’d be further ahead of Brighton now than just goal difference... but still technically ahead.

Your not comparing your ‘300 trophies’ to the CL or European Cups are you? You do realise ‘Best Granny Story 2017’ isn’t really in the same league don’t you? 😂

There's a difference between seeing the potential of the club and seeing the potential of the players though mate. Your point is the equivalent of criticising a property developer for refurbishing a house... 'if he sees potential for the house, why did he get rid of all the rotting floorboards and 1980s decor?'

He'll never understand that one Andy if he lives to a hundred.

a builder would be in control of the purse strings

he would have done a survey
he would have known what he was getting himself into

    rafa was nebver in control

    he never will be

But the analogy wasn't with a builder, it was with a property developer. And typically it's the property developer who hires the builder, not the other way around... Maybe we should move away from extended metaphors!

Is your point that Rafa shouldn't speak about the potential of the club because he isn't the owner?

no my point is if rafa saw the potebtial of the club
it would have been under s
    ashly

so maybe he sees more in ash than you lot do

    i mean he
    took ashlys money
    he stayed under asjh

so maybe he is an ash supporter
