Then theres the extra travelling. Or multiple modes of transport needed to get there

The fact theres no money for it

    The fact it looks sh@te

The only bonus i can think of it happening is Stewart Milne will finally get to f@ck away from our club. So i suppose thats a f@cking major bonus. Oh that and the magic training facillities that will make us beat celtic and sevco and nae sh@te it all the time. Oh and its nae going to be freezing as its in the tropics

but you don;t accept that with cahnge, options will change too.
Your too blinkered in your current routine to accept there may be options to suit you going forward once the ground is finished.

Why does everyone assume they’ll be first class & state of the art? What has Milne delivered in the last 20 years that makes you confident of either?

It’ll get built on the cheap but cost us a fortune. Keep an eye out for who gets the contracts

My pessimism doesn’t affect the club. Your optimism could sink it

Is it because I pre-empted pointing out many improvements?
Things that will remain the status quo

The atmosphere will still be sh@te as there will still be huge gaps in the crowd, we will not magic up fans because we are in Westhill

It will still be half empty most of the time we will not magic up fans because we are in Westhill

This one is an maybe depending on circumstances.but we will still going into pigs and sevco games with trepidation every time Derek McInnes is our manager despite the super duper training facillities

It will still be f@cking freezing even though ive been told otherwise .Westhill get some of the worst cold weather in the area

What will go over there that isn't at Pittodrie just now

    Debt

    Lack of drinking/eating establishments

    Lack of city Location

    Lack of ample parking

Lack of busses galore from numerous direction

One thing I hope that doesn't transfer over that is a huge plus

    Stewart Milne

That's just the sh@t off the top of my head

I'm not happy about the location either. I'm not happy about leaving Pittodrie and the death of the three golf clubs down there. I'm not sure about how it will all work. Do they really have the finance in place? Will the transport links be ok? Will the toon fans take the trouble to get oot to Westhill? (just as an aside here, the guy in our group who misses most games at Pittodrie is the guy who lives ten minutes from the ground). I'm not happy about the 30 years of mismanagement which left us needing to leave Pigttodrie.

On the positive side, Pittodrie is needing replaced and if it can't be done in situ and that's the only other site - then so be it. On a recent trip to see Man City Seville I was impressed by how they had dealt with their move. Plenty bars and food outlets.

Overall - happy decision is made and now let's get on with it.

Will it work? Dont know - hope so. In the meantime though dont be too quick in dismissing the opinions of people like pacman and (aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh) Mason.

Very good post yet again cougared.
Agree with pretty much all of it.

The idea of a new stadium is great, I really hope it works and I am sure Pacman and Mason do too.

The thing is, they, like a lot of others, can see that there are many unanswered questions that Milne simply brushes away as if its already a done deal.

Whatever does happen, it's going to be an interesting next few years. Just really hope that it isn't done on the cheap and cheerful and we are left with a huge bill we can't pay off....

Its obvious we want it to succeed or our club will be in the doldrums again. But I'm not ruling out having to buy Neil McFarlanes again as there are too many things that can go wrong

I will buy a season ticket in the first season. But if its sh@t and a hassle ill chuck it(to a loving home)

One of the conditions for them to be allowed to build the stadium is they have to get permission from Aberdeenshire Council to build a foot bridge.Good luck with that.

It will be years before they will be allowed to begin building it with that as well as the nimbys appeal.
