    Plymouth(away)predictions

Sorry to sound negative but I have a feeling our inconsistent form against the bottom end of the table will shine through again.
    1-1 draw

I felt quite confident about the Walsall game. Not so sure about this one.
Perhaps Rovers to sneak a 1-0.
To be honest, a lot depends on Plymouth's intentions. I'd rather they set out to win the game. If they "do a Northampton", things get much harder.

You predict a Rovers clean sheet? Not had many of them recently!

You're right, Saxo, but I don't think the defence has played badly overall. The individual errors have certainly been punished, though.
Watched it several times now, and I still can't decide if Nyambe was fouled or not in the incident leading to Walsall's goal. Even if he wasn't, however, it's an exact example of what I mean. His going to ground left them with a clear, unexpected route to goal.
Generally, I still think our defence is pretty solid-looking. We are third-best in terms of goals conceded in D.1.

Your right Aucks. Individual errors such as Mulgrew vrs Fleetwood eg, have been punished. However, as we have won or drawn those games, most of the time the mistake is hidden. I think we are largely very solid at the back. But do lack pace with our 2 CH's. I think Nyambe looked to get a nudge, but like you say, had he stayed on his feet, the chance hadn't have arisen. The flip side to most of this, is the goals we do conceded don't ever come by us being ripped apart. It's normally a mistake, or when we are 2 or more goals ahead. I look at it from that point of view. Compared to the excellent goals we create, usually involving 4 or 5 players.

I'll take a point at Plymouth right here and now, and move on.
But these are the places we need to go and win. If we really want to keep pushing forwards.
    1-4

Our defending on corners and set pieces is woeful.

Champs I am just intrigued why you would take a point?
Really we should be winning these sort of games if we have any drive for promotion
I know I predicted a draw but that is because of our patchy record against the lower teams but realistically we SHOULD be winning these sort of games all day long.

In the championship, I'd say win at home, draw away would be an acceptable aim IF we get promoted. Not acceptable at this level though in my book.
