    Penalties

We should have been awarded 2 spot kicks at least this season. Firstly Lossl’s challenge on Hendrick at Huddersfield and then last night when Cork was flattened by Dummett. Needless to say the referees on these occasions have not seen fit to make the call. If it had happened to Arsenal you can bet Whinger would have gone ballistic and been sent to the stands. I fail to see that in the immediate aftermath to the foul on Cork the ref has then ruled out a Barnes strike for an infringement. I hope we get the rub of the green against Manchester City on Saturday but I do rather doubt it.

The slightest infringement seems to get the opposition a pen. If one of our strikers had his leg hacked off with machete we'd probably get an indirect free kick.

    West Ham game we drew
Burnley looked to have a good shout for a penalty in the 32nd minute when Wood was caught by Hart as he tried to latch onto Brady's pass.

There were about 12 of us in a group up in the Gods at Newcastle, we were looking directly down at the Cork incident.

12 people all gobsmacked because the hapless, hopeless Simon Hooper waved play on.

If that was not a penalty, quite simply we are never going to get one.

Hope our lads practice taking them or what happened at Newcastle will happen to us

That little push by Barnes, goal disallowed, free kick to Newcastle. If it had been Barnes pushed like that, would the ref have given us a pen ? Somehow I doubt it.

That's a shocking thing to say about Mr Hooper BT. If I was he I'd be consulting Sue, Grabbit & Run.

    He'd lose!
