Alex Ferguson was the same. Though both are winners which non of us can disagree with.
I'm guessing non of us would/could work under such regime though he deff got the best out of what he had.
Cayton totally agree. Did SE want a ***** for a Manager or one who delivered come what may? Football is a results based business not a ‘let’s all be nicely nicely to our players’

Those that stayed with Evans have the medals to prove it irrespective of his style. Bet they cherish them as well.

Some fans live in a ga ga world.

S****horpe in play offs then Warney v Hursty at Wembley for a repeat of 1996 with the same result. Hope Jemson has still got his boots.

Does anyone expect managers to be all nicely nicely? Evans takes things to the extreme. There's not many players who play for him again. Evans is a total tw@t most of the time which is a bit different to being a tw@t in the dressing room.

Posh are 12-1 for promotion and if they win there game in hand level on points with Plymouth for 6th place.

Got to be worth a cheeky fiver

Evans gets promotions like him or not and posh have some firepower upfront for this league.

Interesting to read these comments about Evans’ “my way or highway” attitude to football management

There’s more than a hint of if it now at NYS under the Warne & Barker regime.

If the manager isn't in charge of a football team than who is??

It's got to be my way or the highway otherwise people will do what they want to do.

You can't have that on a football team

Agree entirely but there can be conflicts due to personal likes and dislikes rather than purely being based on a players skill.
