Talking of Russian Spies, I see the Old Commie has failed to condemn the Russians, to the disgrace of much of his own party.
It took Yvette Cooper to stand up in Parliament and say that the Russia should face 'unequivocal condemnation' to cheers from both sides of the house. Something the Old Commie should have said, but hasn't.

Very much reported flagged as I read the article this afternoon , it was also reported on the politics live section .

One or two things need stating regarding your comments .

Mr Corbyn will make a suitable statement once the process is followed through to a conclusion and all evidence unearthed .

We are dealing with the world of espionage which makes the case worthy of serious due diligence .

Given our record of jumping the gun with regard to Iraq and the millions of deaths , destruction of the country and fall out with regard to ISIS it's perhaps a sensible move he keeps his cards closer to his chest than many seem to be doing .

I'm absolutely sure that the Conservative government wouldn't be poking the bear with a sharp stick unless they were satisfied that is was the Russians that were responsible Animal.

The labour party took us to war in Iraq and supported the Gadaffi regime in Libya, thus changing the face of middle eastern relations forever and leading to ever increasing numbers of disaffected muslims joining terrorist groups such as isis.

This week has been another example of the ineptitude of the Labour Party Leadership to get it right on important matters of foreign policy.

I'm sure Mr Corbyn will make a suitable statement, but only after he's been suitably coached to bury deeper his anti British, anti MI5 attitude and to play to the gallery.

Completely agree with that Roma, can't see our fans being welcomed or suitably well protected in Russia after this.

Until you know what the hazard is you don't know what advice to give to deal with it. Those engaged in the investigation will of course wear full PPE until they know what it is.

CMO gave advice "wash your clothes"
So she gave that advice not knowing what the hazard is even after one week & two people close to deaths door
If the nerve agent is so potentially lethal how do you wash your clothes & double bag & seal the bags without risking contact with the nerve agent
Pretty p1ss poor advice & it would certainly make me a tad more than nervous if I was one of those restaurant/pub goers involved
Anyone remember the BSE scandal of about 20 years ago when our food experts had seen nothing wrong with feeding cows, a well known herbivore, food containing meat/ bones & other unwanted animal flesh & these people just like the CMO are the ones we put our trust in

A couple of years ago, a building that I was working in had to be evacuated because a smoke alarm had triggered. The fire brigade turned up and entered the building wearing protective clothing. After fifteen minutes they came out and told us we could go back in.

Based upon your view of the Salisbury incident, I should have refused to take the firemen’s advice because they were wearing protective gear when they had entered the building. I did, of course, accept their advice because I relied upon them to have completed their investigations and used their expertise to assess the risk.

Take a look at your sentence about the nerve agent. It begins with ‘if’. That’s the problem you have, your argument is based upon a lot of ‘ifs’ that you don’t have the expertise to assess.

The conservative party aren't the judge and jury over this matter .

It might be helpful if samples of the nerve agent were offered up for examination for instance , Macron wants positive proof too before he throws his hat into the ring .

Just because Corbyn isn't quite dancing to the patriotic right wing drum beat until all the facts are on the table doesn't make him anti british .

You might want to ask which party receives donations from Russian's before making any assumptions too .

You also might want to look up who stood on a stage in central london and addressed nearly a million Iraq anti war demonstrates in 2002 .

Russia were given chance to answer the charge and haven’t responded.

In times like this the Parliament should be standing together to show strength . A large amount of Labour MPs have backed the Governments stance as have the UN Security Council .

The lack of response by Russia shows their guilt for me
