They have to win in the semi's first.

Get some cash on your pal Steve Evans Brin.
Evo’s told me to hold back as he feels he’s come in too late to make an impact this season.

He went on to say that if he does make the final through the playoffs, then to have a wee bet on Posh as he doesn’t know when to pack in, even at 2-0 down as we well know.

If they don’t go up this season then yes a large wedge is going on Posh for promotion.

Who was it that won tickets for the final in 2010 but couldn't use them? I think it was Nedd who benefitted from the generous offer.

Nez got a ticket and CAM provided at least one.

I am now leading the way to stop the hard luck stories and for people simply to self certificate their need and others to provide a ticket for them.

I life there are always people that need a little help now and then. The act shown by CAM and aided by Brin doesn't deserve mocking.

    Too true frog

Shame on those posters who are mocking them...They should follow my example, get their money out and copy them.

The beauty of my self certification idea is that we do not need to have embarrassing hard luck stories....Act like Shark has done ..just claim the ticket and come back on after the semis to give their email address to finalise the arrangements.

Brilliant,if I may say so myself.

Of course those who are too mean to give anything will post 'Billy big boots bragging about his money and so on and so on.'.all lies of course!

If you're serious about paying for a ticket or tickets for the play-off final if we got there would you mind if you and I came up with some sort of competion? That way there would be a winner and no one could be said to have had a hard luck story which sounds demeaning to others however well intended your offer. What do you think?

    Correct Frog.

Let me set the record straight on this one.

I was the person who won a competition via a football web site affording myself and a guest to wine and dine upstairs at Wembley.
    Great experience I may add.

Not being a greedy person and thinking of those not able to attend, I took it upon myself to offer my pre paid transport and free ticket to anyone who wanted it. I wanted to remain anonymous so asked my good pal Gino to post it up on the site to ask if anyone would like to attend the final free gratis.

All it ended up causing Gino getting flak left right and centre and uncalled for abuse suggesting he was playing on other folks shortfalls, akin to them begging and he was loving it. Disgusting I thought so I came clean and owned up saying that 'I' was offering the free gift.
    Thankfully the abuse stopped.

Moving on, I was contacted by CAM who thought my offer was very generous and offered to match this from afar in the States. Another very generous offer. CAM sent me the funds and I completed the leg work booking the ticket etc.

These offers were taken up by NEZ and Big Lad on Other Side, who I had the pleasure of handing the tickets over to so they made the final.

Wherever possible, I like giving to others in a less fortunate position than myself or assisting charities with donations that's just the person I am.

If people are on hard times there is no shame in that. Kempo's idea ( well done to offer to buy one) of first come first served doesn't benefit everyone as they may not be logged on at the time to claim. The way CAM and myself went about offering our transport and tickets seemed a fair and just way of distributing them.

Good luck to Shark in order to claiming his ticket, there's a catch though in that we have to reach Wembley first.
