Since cricket went to Sky what was it 20/ 25 years ago the country has pretty much fallen out of love/ forgotten about cricket.
Only the Indians and Pakistanis care about it any more.

Watched it yesterday on TV, very strange performance. Yes the pitches are similar and swing is the order of the day, but the batsmen were all over the shop. Rain may yet save the day. Also don't think that NZ are easy beats they have some class players.
Seen Kane Williamson playing for Yorkshire - excellent player and a successful overseas signing for us.
Only about three overs possible on Day 3 due to rain.
England are still likely to have to try to bat for a full day though, and will be struggling to get a draw unless there is a lot more rain on Day 4/5
Only occasional showers for last two games so will be up against it. Williamson got his 18th test century which is impressive considering he is only 27.
Root got out to the last ball of Day 4... England need to bat out the final day with seven wickets remaining (No, I'm not bothering staying up to listen to the commentary). Unless it rains, we're probably burgered...
listening at work and Malan gone early, looking grim.
