I find it refreshingly objective and constructive these days.

I've been worried about your radiator in Alicante though.

Dinna worry about my radiator laddie, my pipes are in fine health and circulating hot liquid all the way throughout.

Just in time for the golf season.

Aye Pac, there may be an element of truth in that, why would he want us to finish second if hes going there?

He isn't going there for the same reason that he didn't go there last time, they have no real money to spend and not looking like that will change any time soon. Their fans will get increasingly hysterical and more demanding of instant success as Celtic move towards ten league wins in a row. It will be seven this year and I predict they will sack Murty (or move him back to U19 duties) in the Summer and then one manager per season for the next three seasons. It might not stop there because at that point Celtic are on 52 titles and only 2 behind the old Rangers so that will be the next thing for the bigot brothers to get all excited about, again not helping any new sevco manager to get any sort of time to build a squad. All of this is before Celtic spend any sort of decent money, which they have available but have opted not to in last couple of seasons. Why would McInnes want to step into that? If you think he is struggling to get any sort of decent move to England at the moment why would a failed sevco season help him?

Warburton failed there & he got a half decent job in England. Only goes to show where McInnes really is in the pecking order

Der Hun, had no momey to pay us compensation the last time they came calling, if we are to believe the rumours that the deal was done and dusted but they couldnt afford to paythe whole amount up,fromt then whats to say that there isnt an agreement in place to use the season ticket money that will be coming in before next season to pay us off, bearing in mind that it will be cheaper to get DM now.

McInnes has many a flaw as we have all witnessed. This season against Celtic and Rangers have been nothing short of an embarrassment and since he has very recently been trying to whore himself to a bigger gig then why did he not shout from the rooftop after performances against Celtic and Rangers?
He is actually making himself unattractive to other clubs looking for a manager and is now someone who knows he can’t improve beyond his record at Aberdeen.
He is getting the sack from us one day. It will take a while but sense will prevail at some point.

Sorry to disappoint you RJ but Milne is not sacking McInnes any time soon if indeed ever. For sure this season has been disappointing in many ways but despite all of our shortcomings we have a better than 50/50 chance of reaching the SC Final and are still in with a shout of finishing second - hardly sacking material.

Whether he or we like it or not our fortunes are inextricably linked as he only gets the sort of move he wants if he does something special at Aberdeen and even that might not be enough to catch the eye of your typical myopic English Championship owner. Look at Lennon's inability to get any sort of decent club after all of the trophies he won with Celtic.
