I was very down after ICT and QOS. I was in the Shabba out now group.
Getting luggy in though has to be a positive step. This is a guy who bleeds tangerine.
At his English clubs he shows them videos of Barcelona and has a wall of his managers office painted tangerine. We know from this board luggy’s passion for united.
Add to that he is a playing legend. He has shown a lot of toughness battling Parkinson’s for almost 20 years. The man is immense.
Luggy is plain speaking. I have no doubt that if allowed to he will not be sacred to tell the current players a few Home truths. He’ll hopefully be able to inspire them a bit with a team talk or two and have his enthusiasm and determination rub off on the players.
I do think the players are good enough to get us out of this league.
Now feeling more optimistic with Luggy on board and just hope it works out this afternoon.
Re team selection I am thinking McD up front as striker playing off Mikk. The rest can take care of itself and hopefully Fraser is fit enough to come back in.
Come on United!!!
Agreed. I’ve criticised d Shabba plenty after last two matches but if he does have something it is maybe to think outside the box and try and something new like this
I think Fraser should be used as a sub for a few more games, but he also needs other players around him to show they give a fuddock to try and at least get us the playoff spot we need before its too late!
I'll be more watching the actions of the incompetent match officials, as last time at Tanny if I rememember they kicked us off the park and Morris got away with a blatant forearm smash and a couple of other off the ball jobs! Other than that time to start winning and put at least a play off position beyond doubt! C'mon United!
Leggy needs to be present on the bench to inspire everyone particularly us the fans.
The Daily Ranger surpassing itself with this article describing luggy’s return to the club as desperate and futile
https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/...chart-12251793
Whether it is futile will depend on if we can find any form to get second and up through the play offs. Long shot but I’ve not given up hope.
Yes, Shabba has been awful no denying that. Would like luggy to have a bigger input and be on the bench for matches.
Hard to see this article as anything other than sevco gloating and delighting over our problems
