FFS Fraser was getting abuse on Wednesday and he has only come back from injury.
Some fans need to look up the word supporter or keep their pus shut

Fraser was getting it on here long b4 his injury now apparently our seasons fkd coz of his injury? Ive always found that the die hard fanatics are the hardest to deal with , rip the p!ss out of folks for NOT going to games then rip the same for going to finals etc. Snyde remarks for going to games that have price reduced gates and things like that. And thats their fellow albiet (part time) arabs. So the players at tanny can expect full pelt from this ELITE band of idiots. Got to say though they either dont go to away games, or keep pusses shut! Very good idea!!!

i remember Conway getting loads o stick which i felt was way over the top as i could see he was improving his game....he had talent he worked hard he kicked on and left to go down south after a superb going away gift!

i think thats Donaldson problem.....its everyone elses fault HE failed!HE needs to look in the mirror....he is another GG the penny will drop way too late...then the real world beckons!

As for the abuse i agree there is a small minority in our support who are way over the top especially with young players learning their trade which isnt good imo

going further back Kirkie got it regular but he got on with it and was a major cog in wee Jums wheel...suck it up our society of precious and offended people me thinks!

the toxic atmosphere in the stands at present is the direct result of the sh1t storm created on the park by the clubs mismanagement. Any club which goes through the sort of crisis we are going through just now would be the same.

Needless to say, from a players perspective, the negative atmosphere is hardly going to create an infinity with the club, make you play better, or want to stay, when you are constantly getting abused in the stands and slated on social media. That's the nature of football fans in general, they will worship you, be blind to your faults, forgive you if you do the business on the park, but the same transgressions will be pounced on if results are poor.

Col Donaldson always looked a nervous wreck to me, his cocky demeanour an attempt to hide that. I'll give him the fact he is young, and I do worry for any young players breaking through in that environment just now, but if he couldn't handle the pressure/stick at United, then why would he be able to handle it elsewhere when the heat is on?

Also worth stating the bleeding obvious, that being the most likely reason for him receiving so much stick during his time at Tannadice was that for most of it he was awful.

To be honest I agree with him that the atmosphere at tannadice is often toxic and I don't think anyone would deny that. The reasons it's toxic is because for 3 years now we've had to endure absolute clowns like Donaldson, who aren't even willing to put in 60-70% effort let alone 100%, and find it acceptable to act like a complete child and laugh and joke about defeat after defeat. There were games where the teams were out and just about to kick off and he's still firing shots into the ET letting the ball boy run about like a daftie after him. There's been times over the last two seasons where we've been on good runs and we have seen a bit of the 'feel good factor' return. Where I do sympathies with the players is that when it does go wrong, it does get toxic more quickly than other clubs and other fans thanks to the work of our baldy (ex) chairman. But at the end of the day I have very very rarely seen any United player giving 100% given a hard time during a game and that's the very least you expect from players.

Exactly. I was speaking to a guy I know who works at Tannadice before the game yesterday and he said that during the warm down after the game on Tuesday night the players were all laughing and joking. He said it made him angry because he was sure none of the fans would have been laughing after that shambles. I'm afraid they just don't give a sh1t.

Donaldson didnt show the attitude to suggest he was willing to prove any fans who created that "toxic atmosphere" wrong.
his cocky arrogant body language when not playing suggested the thought he was some sort of player when he wasnt as good as he thought!

agree with a couple of comments where if he had knuckled down and stopped thinking he was better than he was, he might have got fans back on his side.

you look at the 2 CB's in our relegation season who stayed afterwards donaldson and durnan. one looked to prove a point that he was capable of doing a job, the other didnt. Now if you asked most united fans there opinion on MD they'd say hes decent and one of our better defenders
