Ehmmmm, if someone looks silly it is your good self sir, markets are fluid, they are based on probability along with finance.......I play them now and again, thankfully I received information about a certain manager a few years back.....money deposited accordingly until the index was suspended.....happy days with legal insider trading.

The term “legal insider trading” is the key.....I knew the manager was getting the job regardless if the book showed different, hence I punted accordingly whilst I was allowed to, which was not long.

Insider trading is relating to share trading and if you told the bookies when you collected your winnings that you had knowledge from inside the club that mcinnes was getting the job they would have refused to pay out so you’d have had to go to civil court where you’d have lost.

I punt on the indexes quite a bit, sadly not been too successful of late, however modestly I manage to get a stake on.......regardless, if you think for one minute I’m going to a bookie, who rely heavily on info that produce the index price in said “share” that manager A is way overpriced compared to manager B.....you are sadly mistaken.....the bookies have manipulated prices or “share indexes” since the cows come home......hence, if I get an opportunity when allowed I’ll take it, just as they would.......I have never mentioned a club or manager......you have though and no, it was not our current coach.
Of which, I hope he stays to rebuild our team in the summer with hopefully this auld dandy cheering on.
