Our fans talk about the lack of ambition and board room issues causing him to walk.

He had worse issues at all his previous clubs with much less ambition that us.
He didn’t walk out on them and they weren’t even his club.

Let’s not forget Wilder and Knill live in the area and want to remain in the area.
It would take something drastic to make Wilder leave

When Wilder does eventually leave his intentions are it will be with his head held high.
He wants to leave with the blessing and well wishes of most Blades (like what he has at Northampton who still see him as a hero).

With all that's (not) going on there's other targets before CW gets any stick Chips.

CW's got more than enough credit in the bank, rightly so, and I feel the close season's investment levels will determine where the blame goes.

Wilder and Dave Bassett are very similar, except in style of play. But they were brought in to work on a limited budget.
Working on a budget might work ok for a while but eventually the need to improve will take over everybodys thoughts.

A good manager who doesn't get backed by the boardroom will do one of two things

    1) Have a sulk and think f@ck it, I'll just run my contract down or maybe get sacked before it ends (Ala Danny Wilson)
    2) Work his bolox off season after season until he realises he's flogging a dead horse and can do no more (Ala Dave Bassett)

Either way, Wilder is going sooner or later, but I certainly don't think he'll be driven out by the fans

I didn't hear booing Chips but feel that any that there were would be driven by disappointment and despair at losing 2 points so late, so cruelly.
