As I said we looked to be suffering from fatigue, which is not surprising considering the efforts at Middlesborough. There were times when we played some excellent one touch football but on too many occasions, our passing was slack and inaccurate. The tempo that we have come to expect was missing.

I thought our first penalty looked to be lucky and I felt that their penalty was harsh. I sat almost level with the tangle, and to me, and others around, it looked as if the Hull player was puling Miranda.

It is not often that Boly is muscled of the ball, but he was and it led to Bennett putting it into his own net. Although Costa was weak prior to their penalty, he is certainly coming back to the form that we saw from him last season. One jinking run took him past three players as he made a run on goal.

I watched young Oscar Burr Rasmusen play for the u23s recently and although on the light side looks a class player. He must have been surprised to find himself playing and took his goal really well.

Only two full days before the Cardiff game and it will be good to get Nevis and Docherty back in the side.

As I type this epistle Ruddy, Coady and Nevis have been named in the Championship team of the year. Congratulations to them.
Thanks for the report mate. Not a great result but not a total disaster either. No injuries and Neves and Doch back for Friday. Still a few ups and downs before the end of the season I'm sure but we'll be there.
