That's not the quote at all.

This is what pat said that I said: THERE ARE LOTS OF MANAGERS WORSE THAN PARDEW.

That is exactly what I said you said. Below is copied and pasted from your own post no 28.

"However, he's not done anywhere near as bad as a lot of managers and on par with most".

So when are you going to be man enough to name the "lot of managers he has not done any where near as bad as"

Those are your own words which you can check by reading post 28, page 2, this thread.

It's difficult to understand why you shirk and are unable to back up your own words.

    this thread is bizarre.

I have a mate who always defended Pardew and carver, I always thought it was down to his deep hatred of Ashley, so he made allowances for them. so I stopped slating Pardew and carver in front if him because I couldn't be bothered with the debate anymore.

the same lad now criticises Rafa far more than any other manager I can remember.

we've come to a conclusion amongst the lads that he is just winding us up now, because he just seems to say the opposite to everyone else.

he's entitled to his opinion, but mine doesn't differ.

Pardew should NEVER have been handed the Toon job, because Hughton should not have been sacked. both Pardew and carver were dreadful (but not as bad as Mclaren) and Rafa has done a superb job getting the fans onside, getting all of the players pulling in the same direction and getting (almost) everybody to buy into.his philosophy as he slowly builds a dynasty (if he is given the tools to do so).

if anybody remembers Pardew with any fondness, then they've had a great ti.e following the Toon these past few years.

I hadn't (until we got a decent gaffer)

    I've just understood.

He is going to use the fact that it's not word for word to not give any examples - despite the fact we can all see he's said effectively the same thing.

To be honest, he won't name anybody and as Mick said this thread has gone bizarre.

It's not difficult for me to back up.
    Let's start with Holloway.
    Then McClaren.
    Zola.
    Lawrie Sanchez.
    Mark Hughes.
    Paul Jewel.
    Ian Dowie.
    Peter Reid.

There's plenty more and plenty of managers that he's as good as, pound for pound.

Let's put it in simple terms. He's not the worst ever manager by a long long way and there is absolutely no reason that I can think of for anyone to hate the man.
However, anyone can do what they feel is best for them in hating him or whatever.
I don't think he deserves it....especially from Newcastle fans who not too far into the distant past were begging him not to take the England job.
    Aye, some terrible manager, eh?

Ok maybe I should use other words instead of begging.

Ok, many fans were hoping that Pardew didn't take the England job because he was doing such a good job for us and the fans liked what they had.
If you want to deny it then feel free to do so. I know different.
