and have said many times our players are not fizzy and are a top 10-12 team

does anyone else think with a little more posativity from the start that we could be looking at a place in europe

we aint that far from it at the moment
    No IMO.

With Kenedy and a decent striker - like what Rafa wanted last summer then possibly.

In the absence of this and depth of squad quality then he had to make adjustments. Make us hard to beat, play with the head, shore us up, defend as a team, graft, think goal difference against the top teams, counterattack, pick our moments to attack, conserve energy for a long season - which is now paying dividends BTW.

He also had to develop the young players, raw, inexperienced as well as playing to the strengths of the veteran players who already were at the limits of their abilties. This takes time to happen. Its now happening and going gung ho from the start like you suggest would have been a disaster and we'd have been dicked every week. The new striker last summer would have had us near 7th.

    Its that simple really.

A year ago he was slagging all our players off in the Fizzy and now he´s criticising people who say they´re not good enough for the PL.

Just can't make his mind up whether he is decisive or indecisive.

    No.

    No.

    No.

    NO.

lets not forget this is the same team that played in the fizzy & there seems to be a conception we “dominated” the fizzy, lets not forget we won the championship on the last day because a result went our way so it’s a bit rich to say we “dominated” the fizzy although we definitely were better than other teams the gulf wasn’t as big as suggested IMO.

So no we cant go from just winning the championship to competing for Europe. I don’t know how you can say rafa is overrated but then suggest he could make us compete for Europe? My mum always told me to think before I say, I would like to impart this knowledge to you

hasnt the last few games proved my point
he isnt palying joselwo we are attacking we are winning

if you cant work that out you knob you need locking up

look how much further up the field we are playing
look at how many people we get in the box now compared to 5-6 games ago

look how ritchie or atsu or kenned y come in side to fill the gaps so diame and shelvey can rotate

look how he isnt playing josewlo as a single striker waiting for the hoof from our own 18 yard box as that was how far back we were

the only problem was it took rafa so long to work it out

our fizzy players are now being played to their strengths which is what most managers would do

many people slagged of rafa for continually playing joselwho
    not just me
many slagged him off when gale scored and the next game he was dropped
    not just me
many slagged our own players of to have a go at ash and defend rafa

well the truth is and i will continue to say it
our players aint worlsd class, not even top prem players
but are certainly a lot better than rafa had them playing

i guarantee you if we had sacked rafa as we should of with the run of results he had at the time
any manager would have come in and done what rafa is now doing

    i wasnt slagging the players
i was slagging of rafas negative tactics

look how they are playing in the prem against world class players in most games
and yet we crawled over the line under rafa in the fizzy

chris got us up more convincing and playing better football

i would say the last 4-5 games are about the only time under rafa our payers have been able to play to their strengths consistantly

the last game of last season showed us what they were capable of
