There are some great photos here Balanbam. You must have a great vantage point if you took them.
ALso just to keep on the right side of OC -----I have moved this to here!
Very interesting interview on BBC Breakfast this morning with a former Ambasssador to Syria. He certainly seemed to think that there is a lot of false information being fed to the world in general and was advocating that no decisions should be made until the UN people had been in to assess whether it was indeed a chemical attack or whether it was fake news because none of the video footage which has been shown can be verified and it was all done by the same people who have faked things in the past.
I have said on this board for a long time that we do not have any leaders worth their salt these days and we went into Iraq and Afghanistan quite blindly without ever considering the wider outcome, I have a feeling that it will be a case of 'Here we go again'

I was in Damascus in 1987 with colleagues from an associate German company, it scared me s-h-i-t-less way back then Balan.
We were attempting to sell the Syrian Civil Service brand new printing machinery, all they could talk about were the size of the brown envelopes? Not a nice experience!

Great photos Balan, I can't believe how similar it is to Jordan!
How come the Jordanians don't give Israel any s-h-i-t?
If it came to a face-off between a flabby american gob****e and a KGB trained thug, my money wouldn't be on the gob****e.
I was reading the combined US, French and British launch capability and weapons available, all currently within range of Syria.
My money is definitely going on the flabby American gobs-h-i-t-e and his favourite ally too!

Of course if it comes to all out war the Americans will eventually obliterate the Russian military. But how many casualties will the American people tolerate while the gob****e throws his weight around. Putin and Russia will do what it takes and they have, I believe, over 20 attack submarines. They may not be as technologically advanced as the US navy, but if they target US ships they're going to get one or two hits and the body bags will be piling up in the good old US of A. Putin won't back down, Russia won't back down, I'm not sure the Donald has thought this through.
