You're being a bit modest there Griff.
Your rise up the table from 8th to 2nd in recent weeks has been pretty spectacular!
Something similar by CUFC could have saved KC's job.
Aye, my 13 last weekend helped because it was more than anyone else in the top half. But look at the table now - only 5 points between 2nd and 8th. Still a few bragging rights to play for.
Only one outstanding game now.

Sc*unthorpe v Plymouth
Sorry Piglet, not the Ordovician Period, though that was one loooong period. The correct answer was Lillets.
Well done Pete, top-scorer with 12 and now up to second. NZBlue scored poorly, which keeps things interesting going into the last week, though he'll only have to score 9 next week to guarantee the top spot and title of CHAMPION. Much metaphorical waving of flags and jumping up and down etc. It would take one MASSIVE effort from someone to oust him, though it's technically possible down to 6th place. Average score was 5.9 but there was a trio of players that only managed 3. Oh, the shame. Other than minor changes to the table the only significant change was Howoldboy dropping from second to sixth. Still only 6 points between second and sixth though, so the last week will still be interesting.
As I said, next weekend will be the last set of games, over Saturday and Sunday. I'll select games that have some meaning to at least one of the participants where possible. The mid-league games feature teams with little to play for and are usually played by kids in flip-flops so I'll leave them alone it I can.
Good luck in the final week. One game in mid-week so look out for the result.
