We have discussed this on here before 59/60, they do not bring £1 Billion to our economy, more like £500 Million (if that), they are given a purse of over £50 Million for functions (Tax Payers Money), the Policing bill is over £150 Million a year (Tax Payers money), The Windsor Castle fire was estimated to cost over £90 Million, Madam Elizabeth sat back and expected the British Taxpayer to stump up the dosh.

There is no more than 2 Royal attractions in the top 20 tourists spots in the UK.

Many Royals from other Countries support themselves, but ours feel quite at ease to pilfer from Benefits, Andrews Daughter taking 14 Holidays in one year, and certain Royals rather taking an unimportant helicopter trip for £31,000 when a 30 minute car ride would have been easier and less of a price for the taxpayer.

Sorry Alto, I got that wrong. It is actually £1.8 billion per year (see the two links above)

If you prefer to live in a country ruled by President Corbyn then crack on.

Will he contribute £1.8 billion to our economy?

Quite a few on here seem to complain about almost everything about our country - I have never seen a thread saying anything good about England.

Which country do you admire the most? Which country would you like England to model itself on? And if that country is so great, and England is so bad then why haven't you moved there?

When I started getting older I vowed that I would not become a grumpy old bugger. I failed miserably, but I am very careful what I wish for - the grass is always greener and all that...

The fall back position should not be to complain about the complainers, but complain instead about what is causing the complaints.

Ahhhhh the gutter press which is the Sun and the other one that has certain clout with the Tories, I see.

Corbyn could not run a bath, the Tories are in dire schite with this Windrush and he should be all over them like a rash, trashing them at every turn, but he's done next to phuck all, same as he does for everything else, as for him contributing (your figure) 1.8 Billion, neither him, Tories, Lib dems or any other organisation are in it for the people of this Country.

Just like Football, I don't care about any other Country, only my own (which I'm ashamed of), but you do notice right and wrong's in other Countries and try and follow the right one's, whereas this Country has an agenda all of its own which benefits the rich and powerful and leaves Phuck all for the rest of us.

I also can not recall a thread on here praising or saying anything good about our Country, that's because we have nothing to be proud about, it has been going down the toilet before the American loans business and nobody seems to want to put the breaks on, only Austerity which has proved itself in not working, pissing money down the drain on the HS2 nonsense, being lied about Brexit and still listening to lies now, they seem more bothered about being PC than folk being deported for NO reason, I could continue but I'd be here all night and I'm sure alf would need a break to change his p!ss bag before the end of it.

"The grass is always greener" ? Its about time someone stood up at the helm and stopped quoting sayings and using clever double talk and actually did something for our Country and its people, but nobody will, we are well past the U bend and racing to the sewer.

Alf, tell me something the Royals go out of their way to do anything out of the goodness of their hearts for normal folk ?

I said on another post that Royals in other Countries maintain themselves and pay their way, with the Queens wealth she should fend for herself, to me she's a ponce with the rest of her brood.

    A wee story for you.
A friend of a friend was sailing in Oban and got stuck on a sandbar. They tried to rock the boat off but failed so a passing boat was stopped and asked to help. They still failed and the skipper noticed a woman still on the other boat. They shouted hey you get your effing **** over here. She did and they managed to get the boat off. As is customary they were all invited for a drink or three. It eventually dawned on the skipper (after it was pointed out) that he hadn’t recognised she was Princess Anne.
They ended up becoming good friends.

Does it need a moral - not many of yours have any morals at all.
How about One of the Royal Family comes in handy if you’re a sailor stuck on a sandbar in Oban harbour.
