I've shook my head, had a coffee, took three breaths and I still have no idea what you are on about sinkov. I have read quite a bit about Israel and it's population in the last couple of weeks ahead of my proposed visit.

On the face of it, the ordinary folks of Israel would not appear to cause me any great problem. In fact, there appears to be quite an affinity amongst the Israeli proletariat to share real socialist values.

I look forward to discovering the "real" Israel.

I understand from reading a bit of the local anthropology that the people of Palestine are Semites. Jeremy Corbyn supports the people of Palestine so how does that make him anti-Semitic?

BT --you must be en route to becoming a Labour MP --you manage to twist everything that is put to you and to close your mind to anything that does not suit your agenda --even to the point of dissing Super League because you don't understand it.
I am sure that with your track record on this board that you would easily get NEC approval to stand as constituent for Worcester where they must be looking for an ideal candidate.
Good luck with the campaign ---particularly after your visit to discover what the Jews are all about, you must remember to pass the information to comrade Corbyn --I'm sure that he will be interested.

On a serious note Supersub6 there is a very real and strong depth of hurt and anguish amongst many members and activists with our local CLP's.

The Labour Party is a very broad church and we simply do not do exclusion. "Freeing Palestine" is a major issue for left wing activists like myself, but that does not make us anti-Semitic.

I have yet to come across personally any member of the Labour Party who would deny the right of existence for the State of Israel.

Being pro-Palestinian does not make us anti-Jewish.

There are right wing elements within the PLP who use the anti-Semitic card in an attempt to oust Jeremy Corbyn, including the usual anti-Corbyn suspects – Streeting, Frank Field, Margaret Hodge, Jesse Philips and Peter Kyle.

I note these right wing renegades felt it necessary to protect and escort Smeeth from a baying mob (not!) to todays hearing on Marc Wadsworth's alleged anti-Semitism. Pathetic it really is!

BT --that is the problem ---the whole political scene is in such a big mess that the internal squabbles are getting in the way of both the government and the oppostition doing what they really should be doing and that is getting the job done with Brexit etc.

There never was a plan for Brexit because the government didn't think that it would happen.
There never was a plan for what would happen in Iraq after we had illegally invaded and would eventually withdraw. Tony Blair didn't give a damn and walked away leaving his mess ti be cleared up ---or not--- by others.

This country could be great once more if we had proper leadership, however, we have been devoid of this for many years and this, along with a lack of planning, is dragging us down all the time.

It is not the Royals that we need to be afraid of, it is our blinkered politicians who are serving their self-interest instead of pulling together to get the country back on a really steady footing.

Lots of stuff you write on here is very well though out and properly articulated in my opinion Supersub6.

"It is not the Royals that we need to be afraid of, it is our blinkered politicians who are serving their self-interest instead of pulling together to get the country back on a really steady footing." is just another example.

I'm not afraid of the Royal Family, just the premise of obscene privilege by birth right.

Blair walked away from WMD, Cameron and Osborne walked away from the Brexit debacle and the three of them are IMHO a complete and utter waste of time and space.

I just do not get the lack of intelligence, forward planning and rationalisation of consequences of political decisions. For example, Theresa May is quite obviously making up a Brexit exit strategy as she goes along.

She bombed Syria with no thought of the consequences, nor adequate evidence that the campaign was even justified.

Rudd is now blaming just about any one she can think of to justify the appalling Windrush fiasco.

Could Corbyn get a grip on it? Probably not, but I have a feeling the Tory implementation of an "hostile environment" would dissipate pretty damned quickly.

How about One of the Royal Family comes in handy if you’re a sailor stuck on a sandbar in Oban harbour.

We aren’t exiting Brexit are we?

Haven’t you ever done negotiation. That’s what it’s all about, we have our red lines they have theirs and who knows what the other will concede till you push it. Nor do you know what folk will try to get you with.

Germany have decided they will charge British cars £130 to drive on their roads. The EU will charge us all £6 to get a permit to visit the EU.
Do you seriously think Jeremy could even negotiate himself out of a maze?
