Just looking at the teams when we beat Rangers at ibrox with a Scotty goal in our relegation year.
    Blimey what a difference now.

Burnley: Gilks; Lowton, Duff, Mee, Lafferty; Kightly, Ulvestad, Jones, Boyd; Jutkiewicz, Arfield
Subs: Cisak, Taylor, O'Neill, Ward, Keane, Hewitt, Anderson, Dummigan, Gilchrist, Jackson, Whitmore

You can see from that squad an example of the complete and utter waste of time and money that our youth system has been over the last ten years.

Hewitt, Anderson, Dummigan, Gilchrist, Jackson, Whitmore, all on the fringe of the first team squad, the best we could produce, where are they now ?

Only Mee and Lowton remain from that first team squad, is that a complete and utter waste of time and money too?

    It's called evolution sinkov.

SD has now got ten tiers of youngsters and development players coming through. Let nature take its course.

"I think if you read my post again BT, you'll find that I was referring to our youth system, try reading it again slowly, so why you're asking a bizarre question about senior players who have served our club well, I have no idea."

"No, if you're referring to our youth system over the last ten years BT, it's called dysfunctional".

"That's fine, but again if you care to look at what I actually posted about, it was our youth development system 'over the last ten years', I wasn't commenting on the current, much improved set-up."

    Keep up young man !!

You seem hell bent on blaming Dyche for what went on before he came.

Howe completely destroyed our youth set-up and Dyche seems equally hell bent on putting it back together.

In that squad there are six first team players who were not really up to scratch either, but evolution has done its thing.

Let's wait and see the fruits of SD's labour? Damn, I mentioned labour again.

I'm not at all certain Gilks, Lafferty, Ulvestad and Jutkiewicz served us well either!

I don't know what you're on BT but it must be something causing hallucinations. I haven't mentioned Dyche on this thread, I have NEVER blamed him for our dysfunctional youth system, I'm well aware the rot set in long before Dyche arrived, I am well aware that he's spent money in an attempt to make it fit for purpose again. Get a grip man.
