Keith Curle Ends his Managerial Spell at Carlisle United

Keith Curle decided to give a early notice of his intention to leave Carlisle United, when his contract finish's at the end of the season.
It seems he thinks that he can't take the club any further, so will finish the season with the club.
At 54 years of age, to early to walk away from football, he will be looking for another job.

His Win ratio is good at Carlisle as is his Win / Draw %.
He's been asked to advise on the retained list for 2018 / 19 season.
Lee Dykes and Colin West are also leaving.
Carlisle made the play-offs last season and lost out to Exeter, this season they would have hoped to go one better unfortunately they won't make it back to League 1 just yet.
After almost 4yrs at the club it seems to be a good time to look for a new challenge.

It is just one of those things that doesn't shock you anymore. The most shocking thing this season was the sacking of the board at WBA or what ever it was. Warne will soon be the longest serving manager in League one if we don't go up.

I wonder what offer Curle has had. MK Dons? Sunderland? There will certainly be other options for him much closer to civilisation.
