Anyone who can get a ball down a chimney has to be player of the year

As it was Pope then it will have been white smoke coming from the chimney. The choice for player of the season was a difficult one as Ash, Tarky and Nick all have been in with a good shout. I voted for Nick because of having to step into Tom’s shoes.

Tarks and Cork getting full English caps, Barnes has really stepped up over the last few months, JBG has been on fire recently as well.

I always feel sorry for Mee, who I also considered. He has been an absolute warrior since moving to centre half, but has been in Keane and Tarks shadows in the media.In my opinion he is at least as valuable to the team as these two.

Let's face it, they have ALL been heroes.
