I think you are a little unkind with Fergie acido in my opinion .

Just remember the point he started with Man Utd wasn't great and ok they had money but nothing like today .

They were miles behind Liverpool when he took over and gates had dropped to 35k and below 30k for some games .

The first thing he did was to appoint more scouts and build up the youth system , it took time before the Beckham's Scholes , Giggs , Neville's and Butt's came along .

He wasn't everyone's cup of char but now Wenger is leaving Arsenal these two will probably be the last managers who stay at clubs for over twenty years and take those clubs to another level and be allowed that kind of control .
