I think though that to say that those that still support McInnes on here, and I am one of those, never get involved in his football failings is not a fair reflection as I have followed and contributed to various threads discussing his negative points. I think that most on here are able to see his bad points as well as put forward where he has done well. Nobody does everything well (not even Pep) nor everything badly (not even McGhee), it's just a balance where you want/expect the good to outweigh the bad.

If I turn the mirror around, whist I respect your views on him, I struggle to remember you ever saying anything positive about him (happy to accept I am wrong if you tell me otherwise). Even if you don't back him and never will, like you expect his supporters to get involved in discussing his footballing failings, why wouldn't you get involved in discussing and acknowledging where he does well?
    Very good post. Well said

I often have done. The best example would be with Clangers. 10 years we had to suffer that clown & during that, I always said no other team in the league would have him & he'd be easily replaced. All the while I was told on an almost daily basis that we were lucky to have him, he was unlucky not to play for Scotland & the very worst of the lot, he's a good shot stopper. McInnes took his time but every keeper we've had since (except for Brown but not even Peps perfect) has been much better.

I'm grateful for the cup win as much as he'll be grateful for the draw he got. There's been some excellent games, with the 5-0 Falkirk, Motherwell away in the cup & finally winning at Iprix being the stand outs for me. All of which I gave him much credit for at the time.

The Hun dunce still played football with the handbrake on, during an era of golden opportunity. No Aberdeen manager since 1903 has ever let Hibs, St.Johnstone or ICT win the cup on their watch. Ross County winning the League Cup was another boot to the hee haws

LOL, lovely way to constrict the opportunities

What about positives for McInnes, that was Red Zone's question, not Langfield

As I said I am happy to hold up my hands and acknowledge I am wrong and the points you list are certainly amongst the top highlights.

I also agree that we should have won more trophies in his time and the St Johnstone semi final cup defeat in particular was a huge missed opportunity although to be fair we weren't the only team to let the various diddy's win a cup.

Hopefully we can both look forward to complementing McInnes on more successes in the future!!!

He signed better keepers than Langfield. Managers before him didn’t, so it’s a positive for McInnes. If you honestly needed that explaining, you’re thicker than him

That’s fair enough as well but I need something a bit more tangible than trust & the memory of Mark McGhee to back him.
Indeed transparent.....most on here can see as clear as crystal that due to your unrequited love and with that, obsession about our current coach, it is your good self that comes across as thick......let the denial go......everyone knows our current coach has failings, much like us all, however posting about him 24/7 confirms how ambivalent you actually are.

When does it become unacceptable to f@ck up continually. Or are you exempt because you can get second

C'mon Pacman, seems like you've been hoping and praying and still are for a whitewash so that you can turn round and say, told you!
