    Atletico Madrid. Another failure for Woolwich Wanderers, another good day at the office tomorrow.

    Glad l'arse lost but Woolwich Wanderers?
    I thought they was founded as Dial Square ?
    But you older than me so i shall take your word for it David

    In late 1886, a gaggle of workers from the Woolwich Arsenal Armament Factory decided to form a football team. They called themselves Dial Square as a reference to the sundial atop the entrance to the factory.

    In a way it was lucky for me that they moved to North London, as I live about 4 miles from Woolwich and if they had stayed there my area would be full of them!

    Do you think the days of long time managers IE, Fergie/Wenger are gone.?
    Ok both very well paid but managers seem to come and go these days......Hopefully Moyes included

    I would think so mate, especially at the top teams. You might see someone like Eddie Howe stay at Bournemouth, he's already been there about 6 years, having said that I hear that Everton might be after him?

    I like Eddie Howe.
    I remember when Bournemouth sold Lewis Grabban to Norwich City for £3 Million and Howe said that was an amazing amount of money for a small club in Bournemouth.
    Ok they resigned him for reportedly £7million and loaned him out but it goes to show that how far little Bournemouth has come.
    Prem club. Mega millions. Good luck to them.
